El testimonio salió al aire por el programa periodístico matutino "Cachi y la Actualidad", que conduce, de lunes a viernes, Antonio Zuleta, quien, además de sus actividades como comunicador social, es un eximio andinista y se ha hecho mundialmente famoso por sus sorprendentes filmaciones sobre objetos voladores no identificados en la zona.Zuleta, que pasa noches enteras esperando en las montañas el momento justo para encender su cámara, es autor de un documental que contiene imágenes asombrosas y testimonios de pobladores, campesinos, profesionales, pastores y turistas sobre la temática.
Cuando la educadora daba a conocer lo que había visto, se sumó a su relato su esposo, el conocido comerciante local, Rubén Guitián."Estamos seguros de que se trataba de algo metálico con la forma como de un disco que en la parte del medio despedía haces de luces de múltiples colores, especialmente blancos, violetas y anaranjados.
Sobrevolaba los cerros del oeste y se desplazaba de sur a norte en el más absoluto silencio pese a que se trataba, a no dudarlo, de una estructura tan grande como una cancha de fútbol", explicó la mujer, ante el asentimiento de su esposo.
